Description
Although original to the Log House, the leather-topped hexagonal table depicted in the photographs probably began life in Stickley's Syracuse home. The floor plan of that home published in the December 1902 issue of The Craftsman shows a similarly placed hexagonal table on the first floor living room, in front of the fireplace. The Metropolitan Museum of Art came to a similar conclusion in their catalog entry, but curiously date the table to about 1906 and associate it with a later model (no. 625).
