Description
This ceramic vase is probably Native American in origin, although a more precise identification is difficult because of the glare on the vessel. The details just evident on the side show a repeating diamond pattern on the body of the vase with a darker register in between two lines around the center. The top lip appears to be painted as well, and there is painted line just below that as well, which frames the upper register–likely a diamond pattern–at the top of the vase.
