                Description
One of a pair of benches original to the Log House, these–by the time of the 1917 inventory–were used on the porch with the director's table. An undated photograph from a Farny scrapbook (believed to be no later than the 1940s) demonstrates they remained there and that the porch continued to function as a sunroom year round.
                Associated names
                                Gustav Stickley
                Provenance
Purported to be original to Craftsman Farms where it may have been used in the kitchen. It does not appear in any of the photographs from the period and was not used in the Living Room or Dining Room. However, a letter from the Farny’s mentions that one of the original tables had benches and this may well be one of those benches.
