Oak, leather, iron tacks

First introduced in the 1905 catalog Supplement to Catalogue D, the square upholstery tacks evident on the central stool in the photograph were first published in this model in the 1909 Craftsman Furniture catalog, which helps us to narrow the date range for this example. There are no tacks evident on the other stools, suggesting that they are earlier in date. We know of at least three stools in the Log House from this photograph.
