David Howell – Dragonfly Pin

The Art Nouveau movement was inspired by natural forms and structures, not only in flowers and plants but also in curved lines. At the turn of the twentieth century, the dragonfly was a recurring motif in the all aspects of the movement, from the delicate porcelain vases of Karl Lindstrom to ornamental belt buckles.

Solid brass, electro-plated with non-tarnishing silver finish, giclee print. Approx. 2.25″ W x 1.50″ L (Gift Boxed with Provenance Card).
