The design of this throw is adapted Frank Lloyd Wright’s Darwin D. Martin House in Buffalo, NY, which features a recurring “Tree of Life” motif throughout. Often called a masterpiece, Wright himself called the house “the opus.” Admired for its extensive collection of art glass windows designed by Wright, the house contains nine primary art glass themes, many interrelated. This blanket is based on the details of a casement window which was designed to allow the geometric, stylized natural forms to bring in the outdoors, while providing additional privacy to those inside.
