Roycroft Renaissance Master Artisan Julie Leidel of The Bungalow Craft created this acrylic painting, as part of her series inspired by icons of the Arts and Crafts Movement. She hand painted this image featuring the North porch door of the Log House at Craftsman Farms with lively touches of Spring.
Reproductions are available in a giclée print (8″ x 10″) with an off-white mat and backer board. The matted print will fit an 11″ x 14″ frame. We have reproduction giclée prints available finished in a quartersawn white oak frame in the signature finish by Dard Hunter of Dard Hunter Studios. The outside frame dimensions are approximately 14.5″ x 17.5″. The frame is 2″ wide and approximately .75″ thick.
The original acrylic painting was hand painted by artist Julie Leidel with professional pigments on a pressed panel to assure long lasting beauty, and to protect your investment in fine art. The original painting features an original Roycroft Renaissance Trademark. This 11″ x 14″ painting is also available in a fully assembled mortise & tenon, quartersawn oak frame that is ready to hang by a sturdy wire installed on the back. A darkened 4-square design has been branded into the center of each corner of the frame (A photo of this tool can be seen in the gallery of photos included in this listing). The frame has a warm nutmeg brown stain and an elegant rubbed satin finish. The outside frame dimensions are approximately 21″ x 24″. The frame is .75″ thick. Vertical & horizontal boards are 2.75 inches wide. Vertical boards are .25″ taller than the horizontal boards.
Julie Leidel‘s artwork evokes a feeling of yesteryear and connects to our memories of the natural beauty that surrounds us. She strives to creatively translate the landscape, architecture, animals, and written word into artwork for the Craftsman home.
