The crown imperial flower, also known as the Persian lily, grows in our gallery garden. In addition to that environmental inspiration, this 4×8 tile design is based on an art nouveau image Nawal Motawi discovered in a book.

Every Motawi tile is made by hand and with heart in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
