This charming ginkgo tile is finished in a custom frame handcrafted from quartersawn white oak, by Dard Hunter of Dard Hunter Studios. Run by Dard Hunter III, the grandson of Arts and Crafts designer and artist William Joseph “Dard” Hunter, Dard Hunter Studios in Chillicothe, Ohio uses only the finest materials to create frames that stand the test of time. The Signature Finish on these custom frames is a four-step process, the final of which is a hand-rubbed wax, just like was found on Stickley furniture. This gives the frame the patina of an heirloom that will withstand sunlight and wear and provide beauty and enjoyment for years to come.
