
The Stickley Museum at Craftsman Farms has a multi-purpose event space for meetings, seminars, small corporate events, and suitable small, private events. Parties, weddings, and fundraising events are not permitted. The museum’s grounds are not available for private events.
Craftsman Farms’ 30 acres are managed by the nonprofit organization, The Stickley Museum at Craftsman Farms.
- A National Historic Landmark, Craftsman Farms’ century-old, preserved landscape is maintained as a public park for respite and for passive recreation (walking, birdwatching, amateur photography, etc.). We are mindful of being respectful to our surrounding neighbors and of our responsibility to protect the property for the enjoyment of future generations.
- The museum’s grounds are not available for any private events such as parties, weddings, and fundraising events.

Commercial Photography is allowed under the following conditions:
- Commercial photography is not permitted when the museum is open to the public for tours unless the photographer has received prior permission from the museum. Our hours can be found here.
- Commercial photographers who wish to take photos on the property must request advanced approval by the Museum by emailing info@stickleymuseum.org.
Permitted Rentals
Education Center at the Stickley Museum at Craftsman Farms
Our Education Center is available for small meetings and event rentals. Parties, weddings, and fundraising events are not permitted in the Education Center. The museum’s grounds are not available for any private events.
Availability: The Education Center is not available for rental when the museum is open for tours or hosting an event on the property. Please contact info@stickleymuseum.org or call 973.540.0311 for to discuss your event and the Center’s availability. Advance appointments must be made to view the space.
Capacity: 50 lecture layout, 20 seated table layout.
Set-Up/Clean Up: Chairs and tables are provided. Any additional equipment or decorations may be brought in, but must be removable, with no damage to the venue by the renter. AV equipment can be made available for an additional cost. All decorations, waste and recycling must be removed after the rental on the same day that the rental takes place.
Catering: The client may choose a licensed professional, approved by the museum.
Parking: Parking is available in either lot in front of the Administration Building. Handicap Accessible parking is available adjacent to the Education Center. Potential renters should be aware that the museum’s parking is limited to 25-30 cars, and the renter may need to supplement or provide a parking attendant. Access to Parsippany Township’s water station may not be blocked at any time. Parking outside of designated parking areas is not permitted and may result in the tow of any vehicles.
Insurance: Renters assume all responsibility while using the space. A Certificate of Insurance may be required.
