The design of this throw is adapted from a first floor casement window in the Martin House, built in the historic Parkside neighborhood of Buffalo, New York, in 1903. Frank Lloyd Wright elegantly abstracted components from nature in these windows to visually bring in the outdoors while providing privacy to those inside. Made of clear, iridized, cathedral, and gilded glass with brass came, the original window is one of fifty-seven pieces of nature-inspired art glass adapted to fit different windows and doors of the home.
